Communications & Editorial Content Co-ordinator

- Full time: 5 days per week (35 hours)

- Duration: minimum two months with possibility of some rolling basis extension thereafter
- Location: North London
Our client is a highly established school based in London. They are looking for a Communications & Editorial Content Co-ordinator to support the Senior Internal Communications Manager providing planning, co-ordination, administrative and operational supportfor the production, scheduling and monitoring of communications and editorial content.
**General responsibilities will include**:
Content
- Produce, update and publish content on internal and external communications channels
- Maintain calendars and planners to co-ordinate and schedule communications and editorial content
- Co-ordinate content submission from key stakeholders to the School's editorial planning process
Communication
- Maintain Stakeholder Communications calendar to track and manage communications cadence to the School's audience (students, staff, academic faculty and alumni)
- Prepare content planning/status updates and brief (internal) school's output channel owners (e.g. Press Office, Alumni Communications)
Communications Events
- Support delivery of School Meetings with staff and faculty
- Support delivery of Media Engagement events with faculty and journalists
- Analysis, monitoring and reporting
- Daily media monitoring and tagging of earned media coverage
Other duties include:
- Raise and manage purchase orders and process invoices accordingly.
- Proactively review communications and content processes and systems within own area of work and make suggestions to improve
- efficiency and effectiveness.
**What the client is looking for**:
- Good communication skills - including written communication - and the ability to address a variety of stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to relationship development with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain a strong connection between diverse departments.
- Experience of planning and delivering within a complex organisation with multiple channels of input, output and competing demands.
- Sound working knowledge of standard IT packages, systems and/or databases.
- Experience of software related to own area of specialism, including media platforms, team or department.
- Experience of SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and content management systems is desirable
