To supervise the Editorial Co-ordinator positions (three team members). To work with these team members to ensure they are fully trained, be a first point of call for queries, monitor and manage the flow and quality of work and delegate tasks as necessary.To be confident to use own judgement and initiative to investigate and work towards the resolution of queries, for example relating to the Barbour CMS or content related queries. When appropriate to escalate issues or concerns to the Editor and/or AssistantEditor. To work with the Editor and/or Assistant Editor in relation to content plans, delegating and managing work with Editorial Co-ordinators. To test CMS changes in relation to development work. To process daily and main feeds, including the co-ordinationof content.
- **Key Tasks/Responsibilities**
- Process content for inclusion in the Barbour service - input to the CMS.
- To identify new/amending/superseding document content for inclusion.
- Identify superseding/superseded/amending/amended content and ensure the correct tagging of CMS records with this data.
- To interpret legislative changes (revocations and amendments). Understanding the legislation changes and the impact on content relevant to Barbour.
- Monitor information/content sources using the most effective processes to enable content to be identified in the most timely/efficient manner.Develop a good knowledge of information sources relevant to the Barbour service topic options.
- To interpret copyright statuses applied to content and ensure compliance.
- To process copyright clearance requests for documents belonging to Information Providers with whom we have a restricted licence.
- To input information/data onto the database and amend existing data, as required. Content to be produced to the agreed format and standard.
- To develop a very good (super user level) understanding of the Barbour CMS, feeds and associated processes.
- To manage work to a pre-defined service update schedule.
- Service testing to verify content changes/additions.

**Team Leader**
- To supervise the Editorial Co-ordinator team members.
- Monitor, manage and delegate tasks to team members.
- Work management - ensure defined tasks are allocated and completed.Keep records/schedules of work requirements.
- Work with the Editor and/or Assistant Editor in relation to content plans and service development requirements and the delivery of required content. Be a point of contact for Barbour writers and content creation.
- To escalate issues or concerns to the Editor and/or Assistant Editor.
- Train Editorial Co-ordinator team members.

- Ideally previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
