**About the job**

We’re now looking for a UX Designer who’ll be responsible for understanding our user's needs and then translating those needs into great designs that will have a direct impact on our user’s experience.

You'll report to Linda, our Director of Product and Operations, and you'll be part of a creative and fast paced team delivering on an ambitious strategy to optimise on our current user experience as well as expanding our product into new markets.

**What you'll be doing**
- Conducting hands-on research to understand our users, and potential users, through both quantitative and qualitative means.
- Sharing these findings with the wider team and taking these insights to define problems, help prioritise focus areas and inform the Product roadmap.
- Working alongside our Senior UX Designer in creating simple, accessible, low-friction experiences for our users on the back of the research.
- Ideating on, designing and testing out potential solutions through UI mockups, prototypes and MVPs.
- Supporting the engineering team in building your designs, ensuring the design intent is clear and carried through to our product suite.

**Requirements**:
**You'll be successful in this role if;**
- You’ve plenty experience working as a UX Designer working in an inhouse UX team and alongside a development team.
- You have a strong understanding of the whole design process from initial problem framing, through user research and creative design to final handover to the development team.
- You have good experience in conducting end-to-end user research studies from planning and recruitment to execution (using a variety of research methods), analysis and delivery.
- You’re proficient in UX sketching and creating both low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.
- You are able to support design projects from concept to completion.
- You’re familiar with working in an agile sprint environment, using project management systems like Jira and Notion.
- You’re comfortable contributing to design decisions and asking tough questions to help surface and challenge assumptions.
- You’re very comfortable using either Adobe XD (which we currently use), Figma, or Sketch.

**It would be great if you also had;**
- An understanding of key user analytics (Sean Ellis test, NPS, retention rates, etc.).
