**Service Administrator**

**Mercedes-Benz of Salisbury**

An opportunity has arisen to join us as a Service Administrator at Mercedes-Benz of Salisbury. The main purpose of the Service Administrator role is to assist and support the Service Team Managers and to maximise the sale of additional products and services, upsell work, tyres, purge products and service plans.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Providing an immediate Sandown experience to the customer
- Assist front of house with attending to all customers
- To ensure that all filing and scanning requirements are kept up to date
- Take incoming calls and proactively create new bookings to suit our customer while maintaining the department’s processes and procedures.
- The preparation of handover/WIP/job packs for all department customers
- Support the STMs by assisting with administration when requested
- Support the booking Team by assisting with administration
- Control the bookings regarding work in progress work (WIP), supervise parts orders and turn WIP into new bookings
- Provide sickness/holiday cover where required within the team
- To ensure data quality requirements are met individually and departmentally
- To ensure the GDPR process is followed and agreements are in place 100% of the time
- Invoicing of Service Care Plan work and submission to Mercedes-Benz for payment
- The ability to cover the job of Service Team Manager where required for holidays or sickness

**Skills Required**:

- High levels of attention to detail and highly organised
- Background in administrative role within a technical environment (preferably within the motor industry)
- Experience of using multiple computer systems simultaneously
- Knowledge of using Kerridge automotive computer system is desirable
- Experience of processing invoices
- Commitment to the achievement of Company goals and targets
- Experience of anticipating and understanding customer needs and demands
- Experience in a customer facing role and able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
- Sales experience would be advantageous
- Maths GSCE at grade 5 (C) or above

**Hours of work**

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00 with 1 hour unpaid break. With one evening a week finishing at 18.30.

Total **45.5 hours** per week

Saturdays 08:00 - 14:00 on a rota basis

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £29,653.72 per year
