Start the Summer Term working with us at our ‘Outstanding’ rated nursery in Cromer (Ofsted November 2022). If you are interested and wonder if this could be for you we would love you to get in touch and come and visit us so you can see our Nursery ‘in action’.

We are looking for a passionate, kind, ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Suffield Park Nursery in Cromer, starting on 15 April 2024 due to increasing numbers of children.

We have four Nursery rooms; The Rock Pool for children under 2 years, The Coral Reef for 2 year olds and The Deep Blue Sea and The Lagoon for 3-4 year olds. We are fortunate to have fantastic outdoor learning environment including onsite woodland which is used regularly. The roles will primarily be working in our 3-4 year old provision.

We are open for 48 weeks of the year, 8am-5.30pm daily, providing staff with opportunities to pick up overtime if desired and flexibility to do so would be advantageous. All staff are expected to attend monthly team meetings (overtime paid) as well as engage in necessary training.

The role is temporary until 19 July 2024 in the first instance but likely to continue for the right applicant.

Ensuring the very best outcomes for all children at Suffield Park Nursery is our priority and the staff team are committed to ensuring that they have a happy and inspiring experience with us. The motivation and ability to work as part of a professional, successful and friendly staff team to improve outcomes for children and their families is essential. Experience in assessing children’s learning and development using knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage is highly desirable. Knowledge and experience of being a Key Person, using ‘Tapestry’ and working with children with SEND would be extremely beneficial. Experience and skill in supporting children with social communication needs would be highly desirable. In the current climate, the ability to support young children’s emotional, mental health and well-being needs is more important than ever.
