**About the organisation**

Our client is a small, independent, nationally, and internationally respected, scientific, not-for-profit organisation (c40 staff in total), using accurate data to help improve the quality of critical care through audit, research, and education, conductedwith, and in the interests of, patients and those who care for them. Most recently, the organisation has been centrally involved in the response to COVID-19 through weekly reporting on admissions to, and outcomes from, intensive care and as the UK methodscentre for the CMO endorsed REMAP-CAP trial which is currently recruiting in 140 centres in the UK.

**About the role**:
Our client is currently looking for a Data Manager who will implement and maintain effective data management processes across the organisations’ clinical research, in order to ensure the quality and integrity of data.

You will lead in the development of relevant policies, Standard Operating Procedures, dataset specifications, dataset flows, case report forms and data management plans. You will also lead in the development of data collection/validation systems and ensurethat the data meets the standards of quality expected for reporting both internally and to regulatory bodies and trial committees in accordance with the relevant legislation.

**What you’ll need to succeed**

The organisation is looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of your work. You will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining effectivedata management processes across the organisations’ clinical research. Therefore, previous experience of working with data and ability to think analytically about requirements for implementing and maintaining data management processes are essential.

Experience of working in data management for clinical trials would be beneficial. As would additional knowledge of SQL, experience of electronic data capture software for clinical research e.g., MACRO and experience of using MS Visio.
