Reception Night Porter

The View Hotel offers exciting opportunities for individuals who are looking to build a career in hospitality. We are a family-run boutique hotel in Folkestone, has 44 elegantly designed bedrooms and is looking for exceptional individuals who have a passion for service to join the team.

In this role, you are required to greet every guest with a warm welcome, be prepared to assist them to the best of your ability and show enthusiasm towards our goals and vision.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- To carry out all “End of Day” operations, reporting all revenue from the day shift and collating all information for records.
- To act as a duty manager during the shift.
- Allocate rooms for next day’s check in’s.
- To prepare all necessary documents for guest arrival and departure.
- Carry out all necessary operations when guests arrive and depart (check-in/ check-out)
- Ensure all relevant cleaning duties are completed.
- Serve hotel guests at the bar when required.
- Respond to a wide range of guest requests and promote hotel facilities
- Manage invoicing payments and cash operations during the shift
- To take reservations and business enquiries in and out of office hours.
- Ensure that the workplace remains clean and tidy.
- Ensure the safety of people and property in the hotel.

Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
