Sales & Contract Co-ordinator

We are seeking to appoint a qualified Sales and Contract Co-Ordinator on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Contracts Manager and based at our Specification Division in Orpington, South East London. This role is crucial to the success of the business. This job is a full-time position with no limits to the uppermost working hours. Normal working hours will be 42.5 hours weekly including an hour lunch.
This role is a key part of the sales and specifications team. The Sales and Contract Co-Ordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the projects undertaken at Franchi PLC run smoothly from point of order through to completion. This involves providing timely responses and facilitating all communication with various stakeholders, organising delivery and distribution of products and coordinating with various departments to ensure payment is made in a timely manner.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide responses or ‘acknowledgements’ to bids, proposals, and contract negotiations relating to any prospective Franchi PLC project
- Communicate frequently with supply-chain, customers & any other project stakeholders to ensure a consistent flow of accurate information
- Organise the delivery & subsequent distribution of all products relating to a managed project
- Supporting the warehouse, when required, to deliver products to your projects or those of your team.
- Coordinate with finance department to ensure correct billing and collection of invoices
- Identify potential improvement to existing contracts policies and procedures
- Provide holiday cover for other members of the contracts team
Responsibilities are not limited to the above and may be modified at any time by the Company.

**Qualifications**:
- Must have good technical skills with a building materials background
- Ideally will have experience working with architectural ironmongery, door hardware or associated ironmongery products
- Must have a good understanding of Intec
- Ideally will be a member of The Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI)
- The ability to work under pressure and to timescales when required
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good level of basic mathematical understanding
- PC literate (Microsoft Office)
- High levels of organisation, attention to detail and numerical skills
