Sales Team Leader (Contact Centre)

£25,000 + uncapped commission and great benefits

We are looking for a strong Team Leader to join and supporting the Central Manager in leading and developing a team of approximately 15 team members. This team play an essential role in performing business critical processes and functions.

About the Role:

- Lead and inspire a team of sales advisors to achieve individual/team KPIs and excellent level of customer satisfaction.
- Complete performance reports and submit to Senior Management.
- Work with the Management team to identify and deliver positive change and operational efficiencies.
- Carry out regular performance reviews and set individual and group objectives by reviewing both live and recorded calls.
- To develop staff through coaching, advice and motivational techniques to help the Call Centre team to maximise the potential for revenue development from both inbound and outbound calls.
- Prioritise and manage Customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner and escalate to the right level of authority where necessary.
- Chair and execute team meetings.
- Demonstrate solid commercial awareness.
- Assist the field sales team with securing larger contracts.
- Carry out ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Line Manager and Senior Management.

What will I be doing?
- Organising and planning the monthly/daily tasks in line with the business requirements
- Monitoring the team and their performance - Using KPI’s and tailored reports
- Carrying out regular 1-2-1’s with each Team Member and giving feedback
- Analysing the teams results and performance - including listening to team calls.
- Recognising and rewarding good performance within the team
- Reviewing the membership debt and attrition number and delivering analysis to the management team
- You will need to pro-actively ensure the team product knowledge is kept up to always date.
- Leading the team through our vision and values

What skills do I need to have?
- Experience in managing team in a Contact/Call centre environment
- Good organisation skills and excellent time management through the ability to prioritise and plan ahead
- Using KPI’s to monitor and motivate team members
- You want to work hard in a fun environment and a passion to developing people with strong initiative
- A good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Packages
- An enthusiasm to work hard in a fun environment
- You will need to have experience of dealing with tricky and difficult circumstances whilst always providing exceptional customer service.
