**Airfreight Coordinator (Imports)**

**Colnbrook**

**£35-£38k**

This is an amazing opportunity for someone that wants to join a global logistics company that deal with Air, Sea and Road freight and within 2-3 years will be in a middle management position, with a Team below them.

It is imperative that you have minimum of 1-3 years of experience in transport and logistics, to provide an unrivalled end to end service to customers with an outlook of growth and development. You will need working knowledge of British Customs clearance.

**There will also be the opportunity for Hybrid working**

**Airfreight Coordinator’s duties and responsibilities**
- Manage shipments from origin to destination, ensuring the customer and team are kept updated
- Developing knowledge of current and new processes including government regulations and sharing with the team through cross training and team member collaboration
- Coordinate and work closely with team mates to ensure to learn, develop and work towards common objectives
- Support the team and Operations Manager in order to achieve corporate goals
- Always remain focused on continuous improvement and highlight areas for review and assessment
- Accurate and timely processing of customs documents according to the HMRC requirements within the required customer KPIs
- Maintain clear and precise communication with suppliers, customers and team members
- Accurate and timely billing and management of service provider costs
- Customer and profit margin focused with attention to cost management

**Qualifications and Characteristics**
- Working knowledge of British Customs clearance
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented team player, dedicated to providing high quality customer service
- Communicate effectively both internally and externally, with customers, service providers, team-mates and management
- MS office skills - most importantly, Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Cargo Wise One experience (Min: COO)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in transport and logistics
