This is a terrific opportunity for a bright and motivated Sales & Purchasing Administrator to provide commercial administrative support to the business, a successful Manufacturing company specialising in production engineered products.
**OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR- SALES/ PURCHASING/ SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR**
**LOCATION**: Office based - Fareham, Hampshire. You will ideally live within a 25min radius of Fareham. You may be searching for Office Admin jobs in Hampshire, Surrey, Fareham, Portsmouth.
**SALARY**: £25K- £28K basic, hybrid / flexible home working options available after initial training, benefits, pension.
**HOURS: 4-day week (Wednesday off)**, 8.00am - 4.00pm. Mon/ Tues/ Thurs/ Fri.
As Sales Administrator / Purchasing Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating between the Sales and Production departments and managing the information flow of orders that is essential to the efficient and effective movement of goods. The primary functions being Sales and Purchase Order Entry and the management of order books to ensure goods are delivered on time.
Your varied day-to-day activities will include:
- Liaising with the company’s manufacturing facility, based overseas.
- Handling freight forwarding and shipment documentation.
- Processing sales orders, purchase orders, and inventory management records.
- General administration duties.
You will be an experienced Sales Administrator/ Purchasing Administrator/ Sales Coordinator and a good team player, with the ability to work alongside a small engineering / design team, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
As an experienced Sales / Purchasing Administrator, you will be IT literate, proficient in Word and Excel, well organised with good attention to detail, numeracy skills and accuracy, especially when inputting data. Experience of using ERP/ MRP systems would be beneficial.
You do not need to have experience of working in a manufacturing / engineering environment. Experience in import / export / freight forwarding would be desirable, although not essential. It is your positive ‘can do’ attitude and your excellent customer relationship skills that will contribute towards a fun career.
