Customer Service Assistant

Our client is a privately owned business supplying and distributing products throughout the UK. South Tyneside based and well established, they are currently seeking to recruit a Customer Service Assistant to support them on a full time, temporary basis.
The Role:
- Reporting to the Managing Director
- Ensuring the smooth handling of calls to the relevant departments
- Order taking
- Assisting with enquiries, preparing quotations, invoice production
You Must Have:
- Worked in a customer service role involved with a tangible product as opposed to a service.
- Be IT literate
- Have the ability to liaise and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Display attention to detail
This role is offered on a full time basis working Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm with an early finish on a Friday (4.30pm). In return, an attractive salary is offered, 25 days holiday plus public holidays and birthday, company pension and free onsite parking.
**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: £11.44-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
