We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient, and experienced administrator to provide support to our multi-faith Chaplaincy team.

The role requires strong organisational skills together with a good working knowledge of administrative systems.

The post holder will often be the first point of contact and a focal point for the Chaplaincy service and will require clear communication and liaison skills.

The post holder will possess good listening and people skills, be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload and will be required to use their own initiative.

The post holder will welcome visiting service-users, family members, volunteers or members of staff who may attend the Chaplaincy office for the purposes of meetings or support.

The post holder will assist in the practical preparation for regular Chaplaincy Team events.

The post holder will maintain up-to-date lists of contact details for all Chaplains / Volunteer Chaplains / faith community leaders.

The post holder will create appointments and update team diaries on Care Director.

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. The post holder will be responsible for the general clerical duties of opening mail, message taking, photocopying, filing and record keeping.

The post holder will be responsible for the prompt reception and processing of new referrals to the Chaplaincy Team

The post holder will check-in regularly with the Departmental Lead for any priority updates or changes.

The post holder will organise a yearly Calendar of events, enabling the Trust to mark major faith festivals.

The post holder will facilitate room bookings for weekly online Chaplaincy sessions.

The post holder will help design and produce Chaplaincy publicity resources both printed and digital.

The post holder will support the department in organising and running events, which may require occasional evening or weekend working, including the production of publicity materials, orders of service and arranging of venues.

The post holder will assist the Chaplaincy Lead with the Planning, publicising and delivering community-building events.

The post holder may be required to provide administrative support at the Becklin Centre as well as The Mount.

The post holder must be a driver, with access to their own vehicle.
