We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and organised individual to join a vibrant team of researchers as a Research and Project Coordinator based within Leeds Sustainability Institute (LSI).

The role holder will be a vital member of the LSI team as well as a member of the wider School of Built Environment Engineering and Computing administrative team. Therefore, the ability to divide your time effectively between tasks and responsibilities is essential.

Main duties will include the organisation of the annual International SEEDS Conference and RISE Awards, where experience of events management and driving projects forward independently is vital. As part of this, you will also be responsible for coordinating the publication of conference proceedings using exceptional attention to detail when formatting large documents, responding to daily queries from delegates and liaising with Publishers.

The role holder will also support the LSI team by tracking research activities of LSI staff and logging these on the University system Symplectic, have adept knowledge of Procurement processes and experience of using Excel at an advanced level.

There will also be the opportunity to improve current processes and advance your own skillset, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys critical thinking and is enthusiastic to learn.
