**Overall Purpose of the Post**

The post holder will be responsible for the smooth running of operations, financial management and administration of the organisation.

The post holder will be committed to supporting and promoting the provision of arts and creative play opportunities to people of all ages within Hull and the surrounding area.

**Main Areas of Work**

Working with the Board of Trustees to set targets and budgets for retail financials;
Managing finances including payments, daily takings, invoicing and banking;
HR administration including payroll, supporting recruitments process, holidays, sick pay;
Building management, both planned and responsive;
Supporting and Implementing the business plan;
Organising the administrative needs of Hull ScrapStore, including trustees;
Work in partnership and maintain links with Hull ScrapStore partners and funding bodies;
**Responsibilities & Tasks**

Supporting the Business Plan, in consultation with the Trustees;
Formulate, review and implement policies and procedures;
Supporting the planning for the organisation, working with the staff and committee;
Develop, alongside the Trustees, an annual budget and monthly targets and regularly review this to ensure overall budgetary control is maintained, providing information to Trustees when required;
Ensure smooth running of the company pension scheme, monthly payroll and accountancy functions;
Maintain efficient, accurate and confidential records, including statistics collection and collation in line with GDPR policies and procedures;
Manage the day-to-day functions of the office, including maintenance of equipment and utility contracts, payments and invoicing;
Oversee cashing up, banking and petty cash;
Support with the maintenance of the Hull ScrapStore building, including responding to enquiries from licence holders.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6-12 months

Pay: £14,239.00 per year

Expected hours: 18 per week
