Accounts Assistant

Company Information

You will be working for large manufacturing organisation based near St Asaph. They are one of the global leaders on their niche product. Due to re structure and growth they are looking to expand the team.

Main duties

Preparation of all purchase and expense invoices for data input including sorting, referencing and obtaining authorisation for payment

Processing of all purchase invoices and credits via Microsoft AX

Verify the accuracy of information (Price, quantity etc) and find any missing information/product receipts

Deal with all invoice and telephone queries

Match credit notes with invoices and prepare and raise debit notes when necessary

Maintain and update company database with supplier details

Prepare twice monthly BACS payments

Reconcile and monitor assigned balance sheet accounts and post prepayments, accruals, adjustments and provisions

Support preparation of monthly management accounts

Assist in preparing annual budget

Assist in statutory accounts preparation for financial audit

Bookkeeping for other group companies

Maintain an accurate and update filing system

Preparation of intrastat reports on a monthly basis

Intercompany Reconciliations

Generate month and report for Company Accountant

Petty Cash and Employee expenses

Other ad hoc finance duties

**Requirements**:
Microsoft office

Advanced Excel

AX system

Ideally AAT - would consider qualified by experience

**Benefits**:
Up too 25k (experience dependant), 39 hours a week, Standard holidays, pension.
