**Job Title: Advanced Practitioners**

**Location: Exeter**

**Pay Rate: Flexible depending on experience**

**The duties** of the role may vary from time to time depending on current and evolving workloads and staffing levels:

- Assess, take history and diagnose a range of acute and chronic presentations.
- Able to diagnose and treat patients of all ages.
- Working to 10/15 minute appointments.
- Ability to efficiently prioritise and allocate care
- Dealing with pre-booked and on the day appointments.
- Mix of face to face and telephone triage.
- Prescribe and review medication.

**Key requirements**:
Advanced Practitioner requirements and qualifications:

- Able to work on own initiative and as an effective and responsible member of the team
- MSC qualification or equivalent
- At least six months’ primary care experience in GP setting over the last few years
- Professional pin registered
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Ability to make decisions in high-pressure situation.
- Ability to work unsupervised on a day to day basis and to manage/ prioritise a delegated caseload independently
