If you enjoy working in a production environment with a view to overseeing the full life cycle of a project from customer enquiry through to engineering and completion, including logistics, this could be the path for you

Based at our office in Scunthorpe, as an Quality Engineer Apprentice, you will have the chance to learn and grow in a supportive and dynamic environment, gaining valuable skills and experience to launch your career.

**What you will be doing**:

- Quality Control - Maintaining the quality system including Workshop inspections, material certification, weld procedure checks, quality signoffs, flow chart documentation etc.
- Project Quality - Including liaising with Internal and External personnel
- Operations - Using SAP software to generate information for the production and finance teams. This will include issuing job packs for the workshop.
- Continuous Improvement - Implement, Oversee and Lead continuous improvement projects.

Alongside this, you will be included in our internal development programme, giving you access to further training and mentoring.

You will undertake a level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician (equivalent to HNC) through day / block release with an external provider.

**What skills you need**:

- Equivalent of 5 GCSE's grade A-C/ 4 - 9 (Including Maths, Science and English)
- Some knowledge of Engineering software and Design Packages, for example AutoCAD would be advantageous
- Various software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel etc.
- Good communication skills to work well as a team member or as an individual.
- Flexibility to travel and complete site working (UK). This is mínimal during Apprenticeship but expected as part of the job and the future career.
