We are looking for an additional team member to join our processing site in Market Drayton, Shropshire. This is a permanent position offering circa £25,750 per annum and is working 44 hours/week 12hr shift pattern.

£11.25 per hour

**The Company**

The Great British Log Company Ltd is an established wholesale producer of UK-sourced Kiln Dried Firewood and related products supplying firewood businesses across the UK. We produce all products to the current Woodsure standards and the Grown in Britain accreditation.

**The Role**:
The Operator/Processor role requires the individual to work within our existing team to maintain the volumes of processing firewood on our machines and to maintain the high-quality standards that we work to, in line with production plans and health and safety.

**Key Responsibilities are**:
Following production directions given and ensuring the product produced is of a consistent standard, size and volume.

Ensuring the highest level of quality is maintained throughout all production processes, complying with accredited standards

Working effectively in a team on various processes as directed by the operation manager

Monitoring effectiveness and safety of machinery equipment and reporting any issues

Promoting a safe and happy work environment and reporting any safety issues to operation manager

Undertake any ongoing training as directed by operation manager as necessary

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:
Physically fit, punctual and reliable

Experience in a similar industry
- Agriculture, forestry outdoor work desirable but not necessary

Able to drive as situated near Tern Hill

**Benefits**:
£25,750 per annum target income

Overtime potential at time and half

4 weeks Holiday
