An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Night Shift Team Manager at our Food Service Distribution Centre in Needham Market Our client, a well-established family run foodservice business operating for over 30 years, is seeking a motivated individual to join their team. If you have experience in managing a team and are passionate about delivering quality service, this role is for you

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Night Team to ensure timely delivery of customer orders in the most cost-effective manner.
Get involved in hands-on work within the warehouse.
Take and input customer orders, pick, replenish stock, and load vehicles.
Drive operational key performance indicators (KPIs) related to team and individual performance, health and safety, accuracy, quality, and customer service.
Foster strong relationships and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Take charge of opening and/or closing the warehouse on a daily basis.
Ensure training within the team adheres to health and safety standards and company procedures.
Support the Warehouse Manager in cultivating a Continuous Improvement culture and implementing new processes.
Assist in resolving employee concerns and maintain open communication at all levels.The Ideal Candidate:

Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Previous experience in a Warehouse Management position, preferably in a multi-temperature environment (not essential).
Ability to maintain high health and safety standards.
Self-motivated, reliable, and possesses a "Can-Do" attitude.
Flexible in working hours to meet business requirements.
Organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of HR processes.
IT literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
Experience operating MHE, Counterbalance, and/or Reach (desirable).
Full driving licence (desirable).Benefits:

Salary of £30,000+, depending on experience
Permanent, full-time position with a stable company.
Night shift working pattern. (Sunday 12am-5am, Monday-Wednesday 9pm-6am, Thursday 8pm-6am, Friday and Saturday OFF)
20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
