The Business Development team is a centralised function advising and supporting the Firm in its marketing, sales support and business development activities. The key drivers for the team are to ensure we support the development and implementation of the firm's strategy and in particular help:

- Develop and deliver a clear brand proposition through our sector focus

**THE ROLE**:
Addleshaw Goddard is committed to developing its key client relationships, capabilities and brand. The Client Account Coordinator will work with the wider relationship team and account team to support the successful delivery the relationship strategy.

The Client Account Coordinator will be:

- focused on the coordination, operational and administrative processes of client account management
- part of the central account management and relationship team, working closely with the CRPs, CRM, account managers (fee earners) and business support teams in finance, BD, IT, HR and AGID
- able to support 2 or more client accounts in parallel depending on the volume of requirements.

**THE ROLE AIMS TO DELIVER THE FOLLOWING**:
**Coordination of account meetings and supporting materials**
- Coordinate the planning and preparation of client relationship meetings and internal account team meetings, including coordination of meetings, preparation of agendas and chasing of documentation
- Liaise with internal staff to coordinate the preparation of supporting materials, e.g. client relationship reports
- Capture minutes, notes and actions in client relationship and other account meetings
- Follow-up on actions captured

**Coordination of logistics of client account events**
- Prepare and coordinate the logistics of client events working with BD and the wider client relationship team
- Create and submit invitation to (client) attendees
- Liaise with hospitality / AV and arrange catering / room set-up, organise networking drinks and canapes session
- Liaise with (AG) presenter to obtain presentations ahead of the session
- Co-ordinating client relationship meetings, managing room bookings and when required, meeting and greeting clients on arrival
- Provide assistance throughout the event

**Internal account communications**
- Coordinate and support preparation of internal account comms
- Make general account information available centrally, e.g. through SharePoint or HighQ

**New joiners' information**
- Provide new joiners to the account with on-boarding information

**Point of contact for client**
- Participate in meetings regarding operational / administrative activities with the client and other panel firms (including taking minutes, managing AG's actions and monitoring progress)
- Act as direct point of contact for operational / administrative queries

**Action tracking and follow-up**
- Track and follow-up account level actions as agreed in meetings or the account plan
- Track and report on progress made against the account plan
- Capture any issues in a risk and issues log and raise these issues with the account management team

**Account level billing**
- Request bills at the account level, e.g. for secondments, as per the default firm billing process

**Coordinate client reporting and account reporting schedule**
- Maintain the account reporting schedule
- Coordinate the preparation of any account level reporting on time and against quality objectives, engaging with stakeholders across the firm and client
- Control reporting deadlines, chase stakeholders and raise any issues with the account management team
- Work with Finance, IT and others to maintain reporting templates
- Capture client and internal reporting requirements to feed these into the reporting owners
- Distribute regular reports internally to client relationship team and externally to clients

**Data quality control and reporting**
- Coordinate data quality reviews working with Finance, IT, fee earners
- Coordinate data updates, e.g. updates to reflect the findings of reviews, or bulk transfers of matter coding for ring fencing
- For the purpose of data quality control, request automated data review reports, e.g. a regular list of new matters, POs and outstanding bill
