Collaborating closely with the digital editor, you'll play a crucial role in planning and executing social media campaigns that resonate with our community.

In this role, you'll craft compelling, platform-specific content for channels including Facebook, Youtube, and LinkedIn, aimed at enhancing brand awareness and fostering meaningful interactions with our audience.

Your passion for social media as a communications tool will result in the adoption and implementation of social media best practice across all social media channels.

The role

You would be responsible for:

- Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
- Creating captivating content for individual platforms, including articles, posts and multimedia content
- Managing and optimising paid social advertising campaigns to target specific audiences, increase conversions, and maximise return on investment.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
- Liaising with other departments and creatives to create a holistic and effective online marketing strategy
- Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and social media posts
- Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention to our brands
- Developing content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for our brands
- Using analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns, track KPIs
- Monitoring analytics with digital editor to identify viable ideas

What we are looking for

Essential
- Proven experience in social media management: Demonstrable experience crafting and managing content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Up-to-date understanding of current social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Flexible and engaging writing style, ability to create persuasive texts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using various analytics software
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Desirable
- Understanding of SEO principles to enhance content discoverability.
- Degree in marketing or related field
- Experience with managing and optimising paid social advertising campaigns.
- Skills in producing and editing video content for platforms like Instagram Reels or YouTube.
