Joining our friendly and hard working family as a **Branch Sales Assistant **, you'll be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our shop. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success, providing a first class service.

**What will I be doing?**

Not one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, but here are a few pointers:
- Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis.- You will be based inside, processing our customer orders, answering the phone, keeping stock and facing up shelves.- Full training is provided to use our systems- Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.

This role is based in our Travis Perkins Middlesborough MS branch however could be asked to cover Stockton Ms and Hartlepool Ms as part of this role. This is a growing team where you are really made to feel at home. They have great staff and an even better customer base meaning it will be the perfect branch to start your career with us. With a team that all gets stuck in and help each other out when in busier periods.

For this role we need someone who is computer literate and a whizz when it comes to google spreadsheets. 90% of our orders are from our contracts so processing them can be a fiddly job. We also run our customer service from start to finish. This means starting by taking the order in the shop to then taking the customer to the warehouse to help them load up. If you like to get stuck in, have a background in a sales/office and environment and are looking for a change this role could be perfect for YOU

Due to the nature of this role, a driving licence is required.

My name is Natalie, and I currently work as part of the Recruitment Team here at Travis Perkins, but I started off my career in my local branch when I was 18 completing a development programme, which I then became a Branch Supervisor.
