HR Assistant

**Purpose**
To work across all teams within the HR function, predominately supporting the Occupational Health Team.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
2. Perform diary management functions for OH team including arranging and re-arranging appointments, meetings, and room bookings.
3. Helping to develop and maintain efficient administrative systems and processes which support the delivery of Occupational Health/HR.
4. Input, update and audit of records on multiple systems, extracting basic information within set parameters and producing required reports.
5. Providing front line support to managers and employees as part of a HR team.
6. Undertake tasks as required which may be of a sensitive and confidential nature.
7. To support with the collection and interpretation of data and statistics
8. Set up, administer, and support events and activities organised and facilitated by the team
9. To be an effective and flexible team member to ensure that requirements are met
10. Ensure that you work in line with all the Council’s policies and procedures and ensure that you are aware of your obligations under these.
11. Behave according to the Employees’ Code of Conduct and ensure that you are aware of your obligations and responsibilities re: conflicts of interest, gifts, hospitality and other matters covered by the Code.
12. Carry out your role in line with the Council’s Equality agenda.
13. To comply with health and safety policies, organisational statements and procedures, report any incidents / accidents/ hazards and take a pro-active approach to health and safety matters in order to protect yourself and others.
14. Any other duties of a similar nature related to this post that may be required from time-to-time.
15. This post is deemed to be a ‘Customer Facing’ role in line with the definition of the Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers.

- CV
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- The last 2 years written references with all gaps verified
- 1 years’ experience of working in an administration / HR / financial related role
- A team with over 20 years Administration Public Sector/Trades/Built Environment/Construction Recruitment experience
- Access to a wide selection of vacancies across the UK
- The choice of PAYE or Limited company schemes
- Weekly payroll service
- Excellent rates of pay
**Salary**: £11.10-£11.18 per hour
