**Recruitment Executive (University, Education Sector)**

**Location**: University House, University of Salford, Peel Park Campus

**Salary**: £25,000 per annum

**The Role**

The company are looking for an enthusiastic professional who has great attention to detail and a solid administrative skill set. It is preferable that you have experience in the recruitment industry, and you must have an impressive portfolio of skills gainedin customer service and administration.

**Essential Skills**
- An in-depth knowledge of all the Microsoft Office software is a must, including a sound knowledge of Word and Excel
- Knowledge of a recruitment software, such as ADAPT, would be beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats are essential
- Effective time management skills are crucial, to manage peak periods throughout the academic calendar
- Excellent attention to detail in the transposing of information onto systems is of paramount importance to ensure accuracy and speed of working
- Knowledge of developing social media channels would also be of benefit, as they further develop their communication channels
- A willingness to network and to promote the services of Unitemps to all of the internal and external customer base is essential
- Effective problem-solving skills to enhance projects with a variety of scenarios and outcomes, in a range of settings.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Recruitment Process & Administration**
- Deliver an excellent level of service to the new and existing accounts of the company
- Assist new and existing clients, to identify their leadership/professional recruitment needs and develop a bespoke search/recruitment strategy for each assignment
- Deliver outstanding levels of communication and management of expectations throughout the process to ensure the client is fully aware of developments and delighted with the service provided.
- Conducting detailed interviews face to face to determine the suitability of the individual for the post
- Key knowledge and understanding of employment legislation e.g. right to work checks
- Working on both internal and external recruitment. You will receive training on the company's systems and ways of working and you will initially work on the internal side of the business, placing students in roles and working with hiring managers.

**Business Development, Sales and Marketing**
- Accountable for sourcing and securing new clients, to provide both temporary and permanent positions
- Attending client meetings, to gain a thorough briefing for the assignment and developing a search/recruitment strategy with the client
- Attend university open days and events to promote the services of the company, and to enlist more students onto the customer base
- Attend careers fairs and events to promote the services of the company to a wider audience
- Adopt a targeted approach to the external recruitment side of the business and develop a clear plan for sales and business development, with the aim of finding valuable and meaningful employment for students.
