Mpeople have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a well-established company based in the Hyde area. My client is looking for someone to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
- **Role**: Quality Inspector
- **Location**:Hyde
- **Salary**: £25,012 - Negotiable depending on experience
- **Hours**:7:30am to 4:30pm, with an early finish on Fridays

**Your role as a Quality Inspector will include but not be limited to**:

- Visually inspect machined components.
- Check product quality against customer requirements.
- Ensure parts are machined to the correct tolerance, ensuring they are free of burrs and any surface damage or defects.
- Make sure components are cleaned to the required levels.
- Pack and protect machined components.
- Use of ERP system to manage bookings and correct labelling of goods.
- Stock management.
- Adopt ‘FIFO’ on existing stocks as applicable.
- Coordinate delivery requirements with office admin.
- Assist with other tasks as necessary to facilitate production.
- Total Quality - be aware of existing quality procedures and work within guidelines of ISO 9001.
- Ensure paperwork and packaging are to a consistently high standard.
- Support ‘OTIF’ On Time in Full Delivery to be at the highest agreed level.

**The successful Quality Inspector will possess the following skills**:

- Experience of inspection and of fine tolerance components
- Good mechanical aptitude and keen eye for detail
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Excellent focus and ability to work well under pressure
