CNC Inspector

**CareerMakers** are currently looking for a '**CNC Inspector**' for one of our clients in the **SK14 Hyde area.**
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform thorough inspections using manual measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Interpret engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols, and inspection procedures.
- Conduct ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and dye penetrant testing (PT) as needed.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of all testing activities.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience as a CNC Inspector with a focus on CMM programming and operation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
- Strong understanding of manual measuring equipment and inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and dye penetrant testing (PT) preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording inspection results.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications or training in CMM programming and inspection techniques preferred.
**Shifts & Salary**:
- Monday to Thursday
- 7:45am to 5pm
- 11am finish on Friday
- £14 - £17 per hour
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
**Salary**: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
