S G Instruments Ltd is currently recruiting a CMM Inspector based at one of our bespoke Engineering facilities in Tameside. As an Inspector you will be responsible for both in process inspection and final inspection, operating CMM machines using PCDMIS software. You’ll also inspect our products using conventional instruments such as bore gauge and thread gauge. Ideally, you will have some programming knowledge/experience.

You’ll also use your experience to support internal driven quality sessions in order to improve the knowledge base of our skilled operators and support Material Review Boards when required.

You will be passionate about Quality standards and be willing to learn and grow through the business.

**Essential Skills**
- You’ll be fully trained in the use of CMM equipment.
- Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings.
- You’ll be qualified to minimum City and Guilds.
- You’ll be a time-served apprentice with a minimum of 5 years working experience within an inspection department.

**Desired Skills**
- Experience of using PCDMIS software (though not essential as training will be given).
- Some offline programming experience would be beneficial.

**Required qualifications**

You must be a time-served apprentice with NVQ Level 3 as a minimum.
