We are looking for someone to join our Lettings Property Management Department as a Property Inspector. Andrew Craig are one of the Largest and well known Estate and Letting Agents in the North East and we have a portfolio of managed properties for our landlords.

We are currently looking for a part time Property Inspector to join us covering our portfolio of residential rental properties across the whole of the North East. We cover the whole of the North East so you will travel around the region however will also have a base at our Low Fell Branch. Access to your own car is essential, as you will be travelling through the local area. You will receive a Mileage Allowance.

You will work as part of a highly successful team in our Property Management department. Property experience is not necessary as training will be given, the most important thing is that you have a passion for customer service as you will deal with a number of clients daily. You need to be hard working, organised, eye for detail and motivated.

The job will entail you visiting tenanted properties for Mid Term Inspections, on behalf of the company and the landlord. You will be required to use a Tablet to conduct the inspection reports. Equipment will be provided for this.

**Responsibilities of the Property Inspector**:

- Arranging Property Inspections
- Property inspections of tenanted residential properties
- Producing reports for our landlords on a tablet and highlighting any maintenance issues at properties
- Completing detailed reports to feed back on the condition of the property providing photographic evidence of your findings

**Required Skills/Experience of the Property inspector**:

- Reliable and honest with good communications skills
- Ability to listen and respond appropriately
- IT skills and able to work on a computer and on a tablet
- Good telephone manner
- Well-presented and dressed smartly at all times
- Confident and assertive personality
- Well-organised, punctual, thorough and with good attention to detail
- Able to take the initiative and work with little supervision
- Full UK Driving license and own reliable vehicle

Working hours would preferably be 4 working days working 9am to 6pm but this can be discussed during the interview process and can be changed to suit needs. You will receive a car allowance.

You will work from an appointed diary and must be self reliant with good initiative as you will work alone for the main part of your day, although you are always fully supported by our Property Management Department.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 32 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
