**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We have a great opportunity for a Property Inspector to join our successful Property Management team based in Newcastle but covering a wide area from Northumberland to North Yorkshire. This is a busy and varied role involving interaction with tenants, landlords, contractors and colleagues.

**PRIMARY OBJECTIVES**:
▪ Property visits for residential and commercial properties, checking for property defects and tenancy breaches
▪ Weekly tests on fire alarms in managed buildings
▪ Regular maintenance checks on fire doors, emergency lighting etc
▪ Contractor liaison and overseeing works

**AS THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE YOU WILL**:
▪ Need excellent time management and diary management skills
▪ Have a can do attitude
▪ Be flexible and able to prioritise your workload
▪ Be willing to travel for work
▪ Some health and safety / compliance / fire safety knowledge preferred
▪ Hold a full drivers license and own vehicle
▪ Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
▪ Be organised and methodical in your work
▪ Any experience in the property sector preferred but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 1PG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Property Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
