Reception Supervisor

As we prepare to move to our brand-new state-of-the art facility just off Junction 28 of the M4 near Newport, we are looking for a Reception Supervisor who will be excited by the prospect of working in our new dealership surrounded by exciting Porsche models at one of the biggest Porsche Centres in the UK.
The central function of this role will be to greet and host our customers during their visit to our dealership. As the first point of contact, your primary objective is to ensure that the Reception team deliver a memorable customer experience during every visit. This includes training, reviews, coaching and scheduling to ensure that the team deliver a great service.
Thinking on your feet is very important as you are ultimately responsible for our first impression as customers interact with us and the seamless transfer between departments we are looking for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Reception team with support from the Group Reception Manager
- Carry out training, reviews, coaching and scheduling to ensure that the team provide a friendly and helpful Reception experience to customers
- Greet customers, notify the Sales, Service or Parts departments of their arrival, and maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times
- To provide telephone cover and handle enquiries politely and efficiently
- To manage administrative or stocking duties related to the Reception function
- To ensure displays and refreshment areas are kept clean, fully stocked and orderly
- Additional tasks to support the business may also be required, so we are looking for someone who is looking to develop their skillset in an exciting industry.

Essential Skills:
- Experience of working in a retail or hospitality environment in a customer facing role for at least two years
- Experience of leading a team would be preferred, but if you can demonstrate transferrable skills and experience and the drive to take on a new challenge, we would like to hear from you
- Confident, professional, smart in appearance
- Basic IT and computer systems experience are essential to this role

Our Centre has relocated from our location in Cardiff, which was open for over 20 years. Dick Lovett have been pleased to sell and service Porsche models to customers in Wales since 2003, and we are excited for the new opportunities that will come with the move.
