Part-time Business Administrator

Oaklands Gardens is a high-end Garden Maintenance company based in Chesham. We care for nearly 300 gardens across the region and employ some exceptional plants people to make it happen; including RHS Training and staff from Kew Gardens - we take this very seriously.
This is a new role and we expect a period of finding our feet. We anticipate a starting role of perhaps 10 hours a week, ideally split over 5 days, with hours likely to increase. At the moment this role is unable to be performed remotely, so attendance at our HQ is required. Hybrid working between home and the office is possible after a period. We are disability confident employers but our HQ office is on a first floor with stairs to access. We are happy to make reasonable adjustments for employees.
We’re an Employee-owned company, growing fast and have big ambitions for the future, so we’re looking for someone who’s ready to meet the challenges of the job.
Experience with Xero would be useful.
Excellent maths and computer skills
Detailed planning and time-management skills
3+ years of experience as a Business Administrator
Great organisational, communication and negotiation skills
Ideally a Degree in Business Administration, accounting or related field
If you've previously run the family business and have a broad understanding of the many elements of running a small business, we'd love to hear from you.
