Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join an innovative company within training and business services, as an Early Years Tutor, based in Birmingham, Manchester or London.

MBKB offer apprenticeships within a variety of sectors and are proud to be an award winning and Ofsted outstanding provider.

We are looking to add an Early Years Tutor to our team to deliver training and mentoring. This role will contribute to supporting and developing our apprentices and their employers. The role includes planning teaching, learning and mentoring to the required standard and qualification, along with assistance in the creation of Tutor resources, delivery and participation in webinars. This is a remote role but you will be required to complete face to face visits every month for mandatory observations in the Apprentices workplace.

As an Early Years Tutor, you will:

- Deliver training, coaching and support to a caseload of apprentices.
- Update Online Portfolio with all activity.
- Market and Promote MBKB at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Actively engage in business and team development, strategies.
- Monitor own Performance levels against targets.
- Comply with Self-Assessment and Development Plan.
- Attend and take active part in all team meetings, 1-1s and appraisals.
- Comply with and uphold MBKB Policy and Procedures.
- Manage your own CPD file.
- Maintain sector competence.

**Person Specification - Minimum**
- 6yrs sector experience/centre or setting manager experience
- Continued own CPD development and upskilling
- Hold a full and relevant early years/childcare certificate at a minimum of level 3
- Minimum GCSE C or above/4-9 or equivalent in both Maths and English
- Hold or be willing to work towards ICT skills functional skills/GCSE or equivalent
- Hold or be willing to work towards a TAQA - teaching/assessing qualification L3
- Own transport/willing to travel to face to face appointments at various points in the year
- Good Communicator/Confident Interactor
- Professional image
- Organisation and prioritising skills

**Person Specification - Preferred**
- Relevant L5 qualification in sector specialism.
- Experience of training/ mentoring new team members.
