We are looking for a Cashier Host/Hostess to join the team as part of Caprice Holdings.

Bacchanalia, situated in Berkley Square in Mayfair, is a culinary haven celebrated for its avant-garde approach to gastronomy, elegant ambiance, and commitment to culinary mastery. As a beacon of innovative dining, Bacchanalia offers a curated experience that fuses creativity with timeless elegance that is inspired by the ancient Greco-Roman feasts of old. Walking inside transports you to another world as you are surrounded by dazzling statues designed by Damien Hurst, as well as 2,000-year-old pieces.

Working as a Supervisor within our Restaurants will give you exposure to a busy, high volume dining operation.
- Extend a warm and sophisticated welcome to guests upon arrival.
- Assist with seating arrangements when necessary.
- Handle inquiries regarding menu items and specials with expert knowledge.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently using a high-end POS system.
- Manage payments, including cash, credit cards, vouchers, and deposits, while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
- Provide impeccable customer service by anticipating and fulfilling guests' needs.
- Ensure the cashier area is impeccably maintained, including cleanliness and organization.
- Collaborate with the maître d' and section managers to coordinate seating and streamline service.
- Adhere to strict cash-handling procedures and maintain accountability for all transactions, including cash, credit cards, AMEX, deposits, gift cards, petty cash, refunds, and other payment methods.
- Perform cash up reconciliation and finalize end-of-day procedures.
- Declare and bank cash takings, balance float (including organizing change).
- Report to General Manager and Back of House management.
- Follow financial policy procedures.

***Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a high-end and high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work gracefully under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with experience handling cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Dedication to providing exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences.
- A passion for food and wine is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
