**Job summary**:
The Safety, Health and Environment department is an integral part of RAF High Wycombe, ensuring that the Station complies with legislation and RAF Policy, and providing assurance to the Head of Establishment. The Admin Support provides assistance to the Safety, Health and Environment Adviser, Deputy Safety, Health and Environment Adviser and Fire Focal Point and Flight Safety Officer.
This is a varied role which involves liaising with a large number of contacts on Station, including military personnel, civil servants and contractors on a diverse range of Safety, Health and Environmental matters.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
**Job description**:
Duties of the role include:
- Acting as Secretary for the quarterly Total Safety Committee Meeting and other Safety Meetings: planning in meetings, writing and distributing Minutes and chasing up an actions from meetings.
- Ensuring that online Communications Pages are kept up to date (e.g. Health & Safety SharePoint page)
- Sending out Communications to Station, unit Safety, Health and Environment Representatives and Building Custodians.
- Booking meetings, audits and visits.
- Helping to prepare presentations and documentation for meetings.
- Contacting units to ensure that they have completed 6 Monthly Workplace Inspections and actions arising at audits.
- Filing documents (electronically and hard copies).
- Ordering stationery and completing print requests for the office.
- Ensuring that the office inventory of equipment is maintained.
**Person specification**:
- Computer skills are essential. Knowledge and experience of SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook is desirable.**Behaviours**:
