The DevOps Engineer supports the development of software products, processes and supporting systems. In this role, the DevOps Engineer II will collaborate with a team of expert professionals to accomplish development objectives and oversee software releases.

Key

**Responsibilities**:
Performs all DevOps activities, including the implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and verification of product builds and packaging to provide quality production builds

Understands and employs best practices

Works closely with the team to adjust builds and packaging to changing product requirements and improve the delivery processes

Anticipates future needs and technology evolution and proposes and participates in implementation of new solutions

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2 years’ experience or MS

Working experience with source code version tools (git) and automated continuous integration software, such as Azure DevOps or GitHub

Experience in programming or scripting languages such as python, bash, powershell, c#, go

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Possesses thorough knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

Experience with open-source projects

Experience working in an Agile environment

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team

Understanding of Observability, Monitoring and Service Mesh solutions

Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform

Good understand of Configuration Management tools such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible

Experience with deploying tools in AWS or Azure

Experience with Containers and Kubernetes
