**Job overview**:
The purpose of the role is to support the Greater Manchester Imaging and Pathology Network team in the delivery of the key programmes of work.

**Main duties of the job**:
Undertaking or coordinating high level administrative and project support services to the Programme Team across the full range of their responsibilities and duties. This includes diary management, taking minutes and action logs, and taking follow up action as required. Accountable for own actions and able to plan and organise own time. To support the department ensuring the smooth running of an efficient and effective administrative and project support service. Support the workloads of the department recommending improvements or taking corrective actions where appropriate to facilitate the efficient and effective running of the programme team. Supports the Programme Team, across the whole range of their duties and deals with all enquiries to include those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Compilation of reports and presentations using the full range of Microsoft Office packages to strict timescales and deadlines and working with Senior Managers. Arranges meetings, prepares agendas, and takes minutes, where required. Transcribes minutes in a timely way. Ability to create and maintain databases, producing reports and briefings and other documentation to support business and meetings processes, Confident in the use of all software packages used within the Trust and be willing to train others in its use. Must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office/Office 365.

- Literacy and Numeracy Level 2
- NVQ Level 3 Business Administration
- ECDL / CLAIT or equivalent

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience within an administrative role
- Experience of working in a customer focused setting
- Previous experience with databases
- Experience of working as part of a team and in isolation
- Positive attitude towards change and its implementation
- Excellent word processing skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work to short timescales

- Knowledge of ESR
- Flexible approach to working patterns including weekends and bank holidays

- To work additional hours to meet the demands of the Service
- Ability to move around the hospital site as the work may include some lifting and bending
