An opportunity has arisen within the Transmission department for a Network Assistant (Maintenance), reporting to Maintenance Manager (NI).

The role focuses on providing operational support to Pipelines, Pressure Control and E&I maintenance and project activities on SGN and third party transmission and distribution assets.

**What will you be doing day to day?**
- Management of NI procurement database to support maintenance and project activities, and lead on delivery of TSS (Trader Support Service) declarations
- Lead role Purchase Requisitions and Accounts Payable Escalations for NI third Party Contracts
- Assistance with reporting and forecasting on financial performance, including responsibility for monthly accruals, billing requests and allocating project/resource costs for billing purposes
- Lead on internal audit processes
- Asset Management & Management Information reporting for NI third Party Contracts
- Providing administrative support and assistance to Maintenance operational colleagues throughout Scotland & Northern Ireland
- Liaison with Asset Management, Depots, Customers and external clients
- Assist with support activities under the control of the Maintenance Manager

**What you’ll need**

You will be a highly motivated person with excellent interpersonal and managerial skills. You will be a good team worker, capable of working to tight deadlines and responding to changing priorities at short notice and you will be prepared to take initiativeto minimize or prevent anticipated problems. You will be able to communicate effectively and politely, both verbally and in writing, with employees, managers, and customers within and outside the company, providing excellent levels of customer service at alltimes. A neat and accurate worker you will have excellent computer sills, ideally being competent in Microsoft software packages such as Word, Excel and other key office systems.

An appropriate management or technical qualification would be an advantage. You must be self-motivated, with the ability to effectively control costs, people, resources, and tasks.
