- As a Service Assistant, you would provide operational and administrative support within our Mobility Aids Service. The team arrange loans of wheelchairs to people within the Belfast area in a friendly and efficient manner. The work you will do will have such a positive impact on the lives of the people we help**What does the role of Service Assistant involve?**
- Providing clerical and operational assistance. This may include dealing with face to face queries and calls, processing invoices, and working across different systems.
- Working alongside our existing volunteers and staff, providing outstanding customer service when interacting with service users in person, on the phone, and online.
- Ensuring that the delivery service, stock control and other administrative systems meet the needs of the service and maintain smooth and efficient operations.
**What do you need to be a successful Service Assistant?**
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and have the confidence and ability to learn new software and databases.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and are at ease handling financial transactions.
- Confident dealing with queries from customers, hospitals and referring agencies in a positive and professional manner.
- Great organisational skills and can prioritise tasks and manage your workload in a busy environment.
