Wolf Healthcare are recruiting in Cramlington, Northumberland. Looking for Support Workers on a full time/ part time basis, days or waking nights, agency contract. Paying £12.82- £14.50 per hour. Working in a purpose built property assisting those with physical and learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries and associated conditions.

Working for an established registered care provider with over 50 years experience who specialise in assisting those with complex needs.

Responsibilities of a Support Worker include:

- Working with a variety of female and male service user with learning and physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries
- Assisting with personal care physically and verbally
- Assisting with domestic duties and food preparation
- Managing behaviours that challenge both physical and verbal
- Accessing the community very regularly
- Contributing, arranging and assisting with a meaningful activities schedule
- Being a very positive and encouraging individual that promotes independence

Person Specification for a Support Worker:

- Minimum 6 months professional experience
- Able to work shifts including earlies, lates and waking nights
- Full UK driving licence is **ESSENTIAL**:

- Previous experience working with adults with Aspergers, Autism and behaviours that challenge is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £12.82-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
