**Monday to Friday: 37 hours per week**

Our client is seeking an Administrative Officer provide administrative and technical support to the Maintenance Manager and wider Property Services team.

**Main responsibilities and duties**

- To provide general clerical/administrative and technical support, including:

- Word Processing, maintaining spreadsheets, databases, graphic work, etc
- Arranging meetings and minute taking
- General admin duties include receiving and distributing post
- Maintain databases, electronic and manual filing systems
- Ordering of stationary and equipment etc;
- Raising orders and processing invoices;
- Producing statistical information
- Maintaining Maintenance team training, eye test, sickness absence, time sheets, Annual leave records etc.
- Liaise and assist the Maintenance Manager with the organisation of reactive and planned work for the maintenance team.
- Receive and process requests and prepare and distribute internal and external orders for maintenance and repair works following approval.
- Assist in monitoring spend against budget.
- Undertake such other duties as may be appropriate for a post of this type.
- Administer processing of payments by third parties and council officers
**You will have:

- **
- 5 GCSEs at grades A-C (4-9) or equivalent level, to include English and Maths
- General knowledge of property industry, and Local Government organisation is desirable.
- Knowledge of maintenance terms and repair and reactive work is desirable.
- Effective verbal and written communication, and numeracy skills
- Excellent IT skills, including typing, proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn and embrace new and bespoke software systems
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Be able to communicate with a diverse portfolio of people, including maintenance team, public, senior management, suppliers and consultants.
- To be self motivated and have the ability to prioritise work in an organised manner
