This is an exciting opportunity to join our team. We are looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a SEN child for communication and interaction in Pre-School.

This will involve providing support with physical disabilities, social emotional needs and learning needs. The role will also include facilitating learning for small groups within the classroom as well as developing independence skills, turn taking and emotional resilience.

**This is a term time only position at The Victory Primary School. Hours 08:30-11:30 Monday to Friday.**

A genuine interest in children and the ability to motivate and inspire as well as adjust tasks to meet the needs of the individual, and excellent behaviour management skills.

The enthusiasm and creativity to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved.
- Effective communication skills with the class teacher, parents/carers and staff across the school.
- The ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible outlook and a good sense of humour.
- The willingness to "go the extra mile" in any respect to achieve the very best outcomes for the children in our care.
- Interest in areas such as Down's Syndrome, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Speech and Language Disorders and other known disabilities, vulnerable children and children with delayed learning needs.
- Has a minimum qualification of GCSE English & Maths at grade C/4 or above.
