This role will support the administrative function of our production planning. The role will assist with the checking of inventory levels, issuing of assembly orders, and input to our production planning tools. Liaising with other internal departments to share information and communicate changes to the plan.
Duties
- Assisting in creation of weekly and monthly planning schedules.
- Help to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
- Raising and issuing of assembly orders to ensure stock availability for despatch schedules.
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments when delivery performance is at risk.

Required knowledge, skills or experience
- Previous experience as an administrator in a planning role or similar would be advantageous.
- Ideally some working knowledge of inventory / planning techniques.
- Time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of using ERP systems and Microsoft Office products in particular Excel.
- Experience of managing food and lot-controlled items would be advantageous.
- Must possess good problem-solving skills.

Location: Spicers of Hythe, Nest Road. Gateshead, NE10 0ES.
- Hours of work:

- 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday
- Rates of pay:

- £10.66 per hour
