We are looking for a reliable, fun, dynamic and enthusiastic person to be a Play-Worker at our After School Club setting in Burnley.

The role is within a Primary School setting offering parents/carers support after school 3.30pm - 5.30pm (Mon, Tues, Thur. Fri) 3.30 - 6pm (Wed).

Duties will include liaising with the Club Manager to create and provide a stimulating and inclusive environment for the children to develop socially and emotionally as individuals and within groups. Working with the EYFS framework for the reception aged children to provide individual support and learning opportunities, liaising closely with the manager, school teachers and parents, serving snacks and cleaning up at the end of each session.

We have a variety of stimulating resources to suit and support all children.

The relevant person MUST hold the following:

- Fully Enhanced DBS (you will also be put through DBS on our system)
- Paediatric First Aid Training
- Previous experience within this field or within a school/childcare setting
- Safeguarding & Child Protection (you will also be put through this qualification on our system)
- Food handling training (Desirable)
- Holds a clean driving license (Desirable)

You will be supported in the role through training and continued professional development.
