**1:1 Teaching Assistant Needed**

A Primary School that we work with, based in Quedgeley in Gloucester, is currently needing a Teaching Assistant to join them. This role is a full time opportunity, so will be 8.30-3.30 on a daily basis. The role itself is needed as soon as possible and will involve working 1:1 with a child with SEN, though it is not yet confirmed which age group this will be as there are several students needing support and the role could involve moving around between different years.

The school is looking for someone who is open-minded and flexible, someone who is confident in working across KS1 and KS2 and comfortable with moving around. You must also be confident in your ability to demonstrate successful methods of supporting children with SEN. Therefore, previous experience with this is essential, and you need to have worked with Primary aged children previously.

**What will you need to do on a daily basis?**
- Supporting the Teacher with the lesson
- Assisting students with their learning, particularly those who require additional support
- Support groups of children or 1:1 support
- Show excellent curriculum knowledge
- Manage behavior effectively
- Promote and nurture independence
- Build positive working relationships with children and adults alike
