We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our finance department as a Sales Ledger / Invoice Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, processing invoices, recording payments, and ensuring accurate financial records. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong numerical skills and a passion for finance to develop their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Communicate with customers regarding invoice-related inquiries and payment reminders.
- Assist in generating reports related to sales ledger activities and financial metrics.
- Collaborate with other members of the accounts team to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes.
- Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies related to sales ledger transactions.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, related to sales ledger management and financial record-keeping.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Excellent numerical and data entry skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to take on new challenges and continuously improve processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £23,000.00 per year
