Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to be employed immediately on a permanent basis for an established manufacturing company in Dover.
- You will need your own transportation for this role due to the location of the office.
- This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to work in a small and friendly office environment and who has experience with managing a team that undertake purchase/sales ledger processes.
- The key responsibilities include:
- Checking purchases orders against invoices.
- Posting ledger invoice to the in-house system.
- Checking purchase orders against good received notes.
- Posting and allocating cash to the ledger.
- Allocating invoices on to the system.
- Matching and reconciling invoices to payments made.
- Preparing payment runs.
- Undertaking credit card reconciliations.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3-5+ years purchase ledger experience.
- To be proficient with Microsoft programmes (Excel).
- Your own form of transport.
- Great communication and able to work independently.
- Experience managing other Purchase Ledger Clerks is desirable.
