An exciting opportunity to join the Insight Team of the UK’s leading specialist electricals retailer and services company. The Lead Research Executive will play a key role in delivering accurate and actionable data & insight across the business, through on-going tracking, ad hoc research and self-serve user testing.

The Insight Team plays a central role within Currys, providing a “trusted advisor” view on initiatives, strategies and activities across all parts of the business, giving inputs and recommendations that go far beyond simply reporting what the numbers say. “Insight into action” is our motto, it’s not all about collecting data, it’s what we do with it that counts.

**Key Role Responsibilities**:

- Manage and influence key consumer insights delivered for Marketing and the Mobile squad, acting as a trusted advisor to help them ensure their work is grounded in consumer understanding
- Responsible for the management and delivery of insight to support these teams, including creative development and evaluations, optimising and validating promotion concepts and propositions, and audience profiling
- Conduct self-serve research as appropriate to answer business questions
- Aid in the management of external research agencies, ensuring data and services supplied are first rate
- Train, lead and manage the Insight Team’s tool capabilities: expanding their breadth and depth of skills and knowledge to deliver their role’s responsibilities

**Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience**:

- Experience working on all stages of the research process including, designing, analysis and delivering, ideally in a client-side environment
- Experience of dealing with stakeholders from different business disciplines and an awareness and appetite to understand the different agendas they are looking to drive
- Ability to interpret complex data/insights and communicate to senior audiences and those not familiar with research data
- Understanding/experience of retail (store and online), consumer electronics or telecoms sector is desirable, but not essential
