SECAmb’s Intelligence Based Information System (IBIS) is a communication tool that links the Ambulance Service to wider Health and Social care systems. The IBIS Team are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, with first-rate communication and listening skills, and excellent computer skills. The individual must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

1.Management of the Trust’s DNACPR mailbox, dealing with any enquiries from external Health Care Professionals and action mail as required in accordance with agreed processes. 2.Communicate any changes in regards tothe Trust’s DNACPR process to external Health Care Providers. 3.The post holder is responsible for confirming the legibility and validity of received DNACPR documents. For illegible or inaccurate documents, the post holder with contact the sender to request another. 4.Accurately inputting the patient information from the DNACPR forms onto the Trust’s CAD and IBIS systems, attaching relevant documents. 5.Data cleansing CAD markers from the previous DNACPR process and action any deceased patient notifications received by removing CAD markers and IBIS records. 6.Receiving and processinginformation on patients haveadditional records e.g. uploading Palliative Care Handover forms to existing DNACPR records on IBIS. 7.Management of the Trust’s Patient Alert mailbox, processing PSI requests from external Health Care Professionals and action mail as required in accordance with agreed processes -in conjunction with the Project Support Officer. 8.Communicate any changes in regards to the Trust’s PSI process to external Health Care Providers.9.The post holder will be required to contact the original requester or another Health Care Professional (e.g. the patient’s GP) if further information is required to process the Patient Specific Instruction. 10.Accurately inputting the patient information from written PSIs onto the Trust’s CAD and IBIS systems, attaching relevant documents. 11.Creation (printing &laminating) of written PSIs and posting original copy to the patient for use in the event of a 999 call. 12.Support the Trust’s Frequent Caller Lead and Frequent Caller Project Support Officers in administrative tasks relating to the processing of Alternative Management Plans (AMPs), upload to IBIS and input of CAD markers.
