This amazing **special school **located in the lovely town, **Westbury**, an opportunity to work amongst an amazing team. Rated **‘Good’** by **Ofted** in 2020. This would be an amazing opportunity for a SEN teaching assistant who has previously worked within a SEN environment, or a newly qualified Learning Support Assistant who is wanting to kick start their career within a specialist provision.

You will be working with students aged **11** to **18** with **ASD**, **ADHD**, **social **and **emotional **difficulties; with some behaviour difficulties. Each class is personalised according to the **needs** of the students, your role won’t involve **planning** and **marking, **. **Previous experience working **within a mainstream secondary school or a special education is **desirable**. **LSA **duties will involve offering classroom support to both students and teachers, ensuring the classroom environment is a positive and encouraging space. There may be opportunities to implement your skills and help plan lessons, creative. Be engaging and _creative_ to inspire students.

The headteacher is looking for a kind, confident individual, who can demonstrate **excellent organisational skills**. It is vital that you are promoting and **safeguarding** the welfare of pupils, maintaining **confidentiality** throughout.
